David is passionate about helping clients of all ages return to the activities and hobbies they love. With a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia, David brings a strong academic foundation to his clinical practice. He takes a personalized approach to care, creating individualized treatment plans and empowering clients through up-to-date, evidence-based strategies.
David has extensive experience in assessing and treating mobility issues and muscular imbalances. His work at Surrey Memorial Hospital has equipped him with valuable experience in post-surgical rehabilitation. He is certified in Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and advanced manual therapy/spinal manipulation techniques through the National Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He is also trained in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and Dry Needling through Acupuncture Canada to help restore mobility, relieve pain, and improve function.
He treats a wide range of conditions, including injuries from motor vehicle accidents and workplace incidents, concussions, general neck and back pain, radicular and sciatic symptoms, and various post-surgical conditions—with a special focus on total knee and hip replacements. He also has experience managing hand injuries and arthritis. Committed to lifelong learning, David continually seeks to expand his skills and refine his treatment techniques.
Outside the clinic, David enjoys staying active through basketball, golf, cycling, and running. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of clients.
